The Python-Drive system is designed for a wide range of marine vessels, offering reliability and performance. This system ensures that the engine and propeller shaft are perfectly aligned after installation, eliminating the need for periodic alignment adjustments. The thrust pressure is gently transferred to the hull of the boat by a specialized suspension of the thrust bearing in rubber.
The heart of the Python-Drive system is its maintenance-free CV joint drive shaft, which provides reliable performance for various boating applications. The thrust bearing used in the P30-R model is also large and maintenance-free, mounted securely using a clamping ring. This design ensures that the propeller shaft is centered and stable, even in challenging conditions.
The CV joint drive shaft maintains a consistent rotation rate, even when at uneven angles, which helps reduce wear on rotating components. Additionally, the short installation length of the Python-Drive allows it to be easily integrated into a variety of marine vessels. The system includes all necessary installation components, such as adapter flanges for various gearbox types, a homokinetic drive shaft, a durable thrust bearing unit, and all bolts, nuts, lock washers, and rubber elements required to absorb thrust.
Python-Drive systems are available for shaft diameters ranging from 19 mm to 100 mm, and inch sizes are available on request. Special requests for conical shaft fits or additional torque specifications up to 1,500 Kgm (approximately 14.7 kNm) can be accommodated. Thrust bearings are also available separately and can be mounted at any point along the propeller shaft for flexibility.
