The Python-Drive system is engineered to meet the needs of a wide range of marine vessels, offering performance, reliability, and ease of maintenance. Its design eliminates the need for engine alignment adjustments over time and ensures that axial drive reactions between the engine and propeller shaft are nullified. The thrust pressure is transferred smoothly to the hull using a unique thrust bearing suspension system.
Similar to the P200-Q model, the Python-Drive system features a maintenance-free CV joint drive shaft that provides dependable service across different marine applications. The thrust bearing used in the P200-T model is also maintenance-free and robust, providing long-lasting stability and durability. The system’s simple installation and the inclusion of all necessary components make it a highly practical choice for both commercial and recreational vessels.
The CV joint drive shaft ensures that the propeller shaft rotates uniformly, even at uneven angles, which minimizes wear on the system’s rotating parts. The compact installation length of the Python-Drive offers flexibility and ease of integration. The package includes everything required for setup, such as adapter flanges for various gearbox types, a homokinetic drive shaft, a reliable thrust bearing unit, and all necessary bolts, nuts, lock washers, and rubber components for thrust absorption.
Python-Drive systems are available for a range of shaft diameters from 19 mm to 100 mm, and can be customized with conical shaft fits and additional torque specifications upon request. Separate CV kinetic drive shafts are also available for larger torques up to 1,500 Kgm (about 14.7 kNm), and thrust bearings can be mounted separately at different points along the propeller shaft.
