Python-Drive is a complete drive system for yachts, sloops, and workboats of all shapes and sizes. It removes the need for periodic engine alignment with the propeller shaft and eliminates axial drive reactions. The thrust pressure is efficiently transferred to the hull using a special suspension system for the thrust bearing.

The heart of the system is a maintenance-free CV joint drive shaft, ensuring smooth operation in all versions. The thrust bearing is large and maintenance-free, secured by a clamping ring that keeps the propeller shaft in place behind the CV joint. The drive shaft ensures consistent rotation, even at unequal angles, which reduces wear on rotating parts. The installation length is very short, and the system comes with all necessary components like an adapter flange, drive shaft, thrust bearing, bolts, nuts, and rubbers.

Python Drive systems are available for shaft diameters ranging from 19 mm to 100 mm, and inch sizes are also available. Conical shaft fits are available upon request. Additional CV joint drive shafts are offered for torques up to 1,500 Kgm (approximately 14.7 kNm), and custom axles or lengthened shafts can be supplied. Thrust bearings are also available separately for easy mounting at any location on the propeller shaft.
