Python-Drive is a complete drive system for yachts, sloops, and workboats of all shapes and sizes. The system eliminates the need for periodic alignment of the engine and propeller shaft, and it eliminates axial drive reactions. The thrust pressure is smoothly transferred to the hull using the thrust bearing's rubber suspension system.

The system uses a maintenance-free CV joint drive shaft, which is suitable for all versions. The thrust bearing is robust and large, and its mounting uses a clamping ring to center the propeller shaft correctly. The CV joint drive shaft ensures that the propeller shaft operates smoothly, even at unequal angles, which reduces wear and extends the system's lifespan. The Python Drive also boasts a compact installation length, and all installation components are included, such as the adapter flange, drive shaft, thrust bearing unit, bolts, nuts, lock washers, and rubbers.

Python Drive systems are available in shaft diameters ranging from 19 mm to 100 mm, and inch sizes are available upon request. Conical shaft fits can be supplied, and longer axles and CV joint drive shafts can handle torques up to 1,500 Kgm (about 14.7 kNm). The thrust bearing can also be purchased separately and installed anywhere along the propeller shaft.
