The Victron Energy 12V 130Ah AGM battery is designed for high current discharge applications, making it an ideal choice for inverters, thrusters, and winches. With a long design life of 7-10 years, this battery offers reliability and performance.
- Sealed (VRLA) AGM Batteries: AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. The electrolyte is absorbed into a glass-fibre mat between the plates, making AGM batteries more suitable for short bursts of high current compared to gel batteries.
- Low Self-Discharge: With lead calcium grids and high purity materials, this battery can be stored for long periods without recharge. The self-discharge rate is less than 2% per month at 20°C, doubling with every increase of 10°C.
- Exceptional Deep Discharge Recovery: The battery recovers well from deep or prolonged discharges, although repeated deep discharges can negatively impact service life.
- Battery Discharging Characteristics: The rated capacity refers to a 20-hour discharge (0.05 C). The effective capacity decreases with increasing discharge current.
