Series or Parallel Connections

• Ensure no battery exceeds 50mV (0.05V) before use to minimize imbalance.
• In parallel connections, capacity increases by the number of batteries, but nominal current only increases by 75% of that multiple.
• Series connections charge better but may require balancing recharges if imbalances occur.
• Refer to RELION documentation for instructions on series and parallel charging.

Discharging and Charging LiFePO4 Batteries

• Can be discharged up to 100% capacity; limit discharge to 80% for optimal performance.
• No need to fully charge after each use; charge after reaching 80% discharge.
• If the BMS disconnects due to low voltage, remove the load and recharge immediately.
• Store batteries at 50% state of charge for best results.

Charging Compatibility

• Use compatible chargers, such as ProMariner.
• Ensure alternators are compatible and set to correct charging parameters.
