These NLP water locks have a two-stage design with an upper and lower chamber, with a horizontal separating plate and a pipe for lifting water through the center. They provide excellent exhaust noise silencing with minimal back pressure. Since the upper chamber and inlet and outlet can be rotated 360 °, installation of the exhaust system even in a tight compartment is much easier.

The rotating inlet of the water lock is connected to the engine exhaust manifold by a Vetus exhaust hose. Exhaust gases are mixed with cooling water and come from the lower chamber to the upper chamber through the central pipe and come out of the water lock through a rotating outlet pipe connected with a transom branch also a Vetus exhaust hose. It is recommended to install the Vetus muffler and NLPG gusset in the exhaust duct after the NLP water lock for optimal suppression of exhaust noise. The included fastener provides a water lock on both the floor and bulkhead.

Suitable for internal diam exhaust hoses. 40 mm, 45 mm, 51 mm, 60 mm, 76 mm or 90 mm. It has a drain hole (for winter storage). The supply includes fasteners. The inlet and outlet pipes rotate 360 °, the chambers can also be rotated 360 °. These features make installation extremely easy.
