Exhaust systems are built to withstand temperatures up to 120°C, but when temperatures exceed this limit, plastic silencers and rubber exhaust hoses are at risk of ignition, potentially causing severe engine damage. The Nasa EX-1 helps mitigate this risk by triggering a warning signal as soon as the exhaust gas temperature exceeds a predefined safe threshold.

The EX-1 is equipped with an early warning system that sounds the alarm when the temperature reaches 92°C, giving you enough time to take corrective actions before damage occurs. The system includes a sensor panel with warning lights, an engine room control panel, and sensors for each engine in your setup. An optional 120 dB speaker can be added for louder alerts.
