If the injection point is located less than 15 cm above the waterline, there is a risk of cooling water entering the engine when it stops. This risk is eliminated by installing the anti-siphon at least 40 cm above the waterline. There are two models available: ASD and AIRVENT, both suitable for hoses with diameters of 13 mm (1/2"), 19 mm (3/4"), 25 mm (1"), and 32 mm (1-1/4"). The ASD38 and AIRVH 38 models are designed for use with 38 mm (1-1/2") hoses.
The Type V anti-siphon features a safety valve and requires no additional adaptations. It is virtually maintenance-free.
The Type H anti-siphon is connected to the sea space via an air hose. This model comes complete with a through-body fitting, clamps, and a 4m hose for added convenience.
