The Vetus ASD Anti-Syphon is a reliable and easy-to-install solution designed to prevent water from entering your engine when it stops. This anti-siphon system is available for hoses with diameters of 13 mm, 19 mm, 25 mm, and 32 mm, providing excellent protection for a wide range of marine exhaust systems.

Constructed from durable synthetic material, the Vetus ASD Anti-Syphon is equipped with a rotating nozzle and a silicone valve. The rotating nozzle allows for 360-degree adjustment, ensuring the device can be positioned conveniently for optimal functionality. The silicone valve is designed for long-lasting performance and requires minimal maintenance once installed, making it a practical and efficient solution for your vessel.

If your exhaust system's injection point is located less than 15 cm above the waterline, there is a risk of cooling water entering the engine when it stops. The Vetus ASD Anti-Syphon helps eliminate this risk by ensuring that the anti-syphon is installed at least 40 cm above the waterline, where it provides reliable protection against water backflow.

Two models are available: ASD and AIRVENT, both compatible with hoses in the following sizes: 13 mm (1/2"), 19 mm (3/4"), 25 mm (1"), and 32 mm (1-1/4"). The ASD38 and AIRVH 38 models are designed for 38 mm (1-1/2") hoses, offering flexibility for different system configurations.

The Type V anti-syphon comes with a built-in safety valve, requiring no additional maintenance or adaptations once installed. This makes it virtually maintenance-free and ensures long-lasting, trouble-free operation. On the other hand, the Type H anti-syphon connects to the sea space via an air hose, and it includes a through-body fitting, clamps, and a 4m hose for added convenience during installation.
