Vetus BW Battery Monitoring Unit
The Vetus BW Battery Monitoring Unit offers advanced control and management of up to three separate batteries on your vessel: the starting battery, lighting battery, and PU battery. This unit allows you to simultaneously charge all three batteries from the main/auxiliary motor generator or charger, making it an essential component for maintaining a reliable power system on board. It includes a voltage drop alarm, a three-channel battery separator, and a relay system to ensure your batteries are operating efficiently and safely.
Key Features:
- Voltage drop alarm to protect your batteries from deep discharge
- Relay for lighting battery, automatically disconnects when voltage is too low
- Three-channel battery separator with minimal voltage drop
- Up to 3A charging current with a charger/inverter for starter and CP batteries
- Automatic disconnection of the lighting network battery to prolong battery life
The Vetus BW Battery Monitoring Unit includes a remote control panel with a 3-digit LCD screen, providing precise voltage monitoring (accuracy of 0.1V) for one of the three batteries. The remote panel allows you to control the household network relay, view battery status, and trigger alarms if the voltage drops below a set threshold. The system can be expanded to control two monitoring units with dual propulsion systems and DC generators, using an additional control unit and connecting cable.
Specifications:
- Suitable for 12V or 24V systems
