The Osculati 14.921.91 VSR Voltage Sensitive Relay with Starter Isolator is an essential component for managing your boat's electrical system efficiently and effectively. This smart battery isolator (SBI) ensures optimal charging of your start battery and auxiliary battery, preventing the risk of draining the wrong battery.
When the voltage of the start battery reaches 13.7/27.0 V, the SBI engages, allowing both batteries to be charged simultaneously. Conversely, when the engine is off and the voltage drops below 12.8/25.5 V, the SBI senses it and disengages, separating both batteries to prevent draining the start battery.
With a current draw of only 0.5 m/A in standby mode, this VSR relay offers efficient operation without draining excessive power. Additionally, it features a LED warning light to indicate when the VSR is activated and 12/24 V automatic selection for versatility.
The VSR also offers various functions, including Start Isolation, ABE (Automatic Battery Equalization), and Storage Mode, enhancing its usability and performance. It can be manually activated and features front contacts (10 mm) for easier installation, along with a clear protection lid for added safety. -
