The Ronstan RF6 Ball Bearing Swivelling Cleat Base Small is designed to provide convenient cleating and releasing from any angle, thanks to its innovative swivel cleat bases. These bases offer exceptional flexibility, ensuring easy operation and freedom of movement, making them ideal for demanding sailing conditions.

To further enhance functionality, the cleat base includes a height adjustable arm, allowing users to find the optimal cleating angle for various applications. The incorporation of a twin ball bearing race minimizes friction, ensuring smooth and efficient operation during use.

For added security, the cleat base is equipped with an adjustable ratchet system that prevents the arm from falling to leeward, providing stability and control while cleating or releasing the line. The cleat arm is supported by twin rows of ball bearings, and rotation is limited to 260° with the use of the provided stops.

For increased versatility, the rotation stop on the cleat arm’s molded cradle can be removed, allowing for a full 360° rotation. The fork fittings of the cleat base feature a 5mm pin, enabling direct attachment to the head post of a block without the need for a shackle, further simplifying installation.

The Ronstan RF6 Swivelling Cleat Base is compatible with both traditional post/shackle head blocks and Dyneema Link head Orbit Blocks. Its combination of features—including the adjustable arm, twin ball bearing race, and ratchet system—provides a reliable, efficient cleating solution for a range of applications.
