Snap Piston #2 for Rope to 5/16"
This product is designed to secure jibs to the wire forestay. It features a sliding piston mechanism that locks over the stay and closes a hooked end for a secure hold. The Ronstan Snap Piston is easy to install with a self-tapping screw (included) that fits into two plastic "ears" for easy mounting. To prevent breakage, it is recommended to soap the screws before installation. These snaps are perfect for drifters and eliminate the need for grommets.
