The evolution of our original LOOP® Shackles! Made of Gottifredi Maffioli’s Ultra Wire, these shackles are more than 70% stronger than the original for the same weight. Gottifredi Maffioli’s Ultra Wire is a long-angle braided construction with an exclusive HTR treatment (pre-stretch and heatsetting). This makes our LOOP® High Load Shackles extremely light in combination with very high break strengths and minimal elongation. Like the original LOOP® Shackles, the High Load Version doesn’t cause any damage to deck, hull, superstructure, or rig. They do not sink immediately when dropped overboard and, because of their flexibility, Kohlhoff KOHLHOFF LOOP® High Load Shackles can be used everywhere, particularly in difficult-to-access locations.
