In an industry first, the waterproof Digital System Switch showcases new Harken technology, setting the standard for reliable operation of electrically-powered yacht systems.
To achieve this level of reliability, the system incorporates redundancies.
The control buttons transmit digital signals, eschewing analog, ensuring signal integrity even if wiring sustains damage.
These signals traverse the boat without triggering impulses, thanks to a supplied decoder located at the control box, initiating or halting the function.
Watertight seals remain shielded, even when in the ON position, guarding against damage from sun exposure and prolonged use.
Beneath each control button lie two command switches, both needing to operate simultaneously before a signal transmits.
The switch covers rotate to reveal the activation buttons for 1st/2nd gear for winches, up/down for anchors, and in/out for furling.
These dual-function controls operate by pressing either of the two buttons housed within a single, space-saving system.
Selecting OFF conceals the control function, averting accidental activation, while integrated lighting ensures overnight visibility for enhanced usability.
