Harken HK2615 Carbo Air Block 57 mm with Cam for Rope 10 mm
Low-friction Carbo Airblocks are lightweight, strong, reliable, and affordable, making them the perfect companion to the popular Harken Black Magic line. These small, compact blocks have exceptionally high working loads, ensuring safe and easy trimming even in strong winds. The sideplates, made of high-strength resin, are UV-stabilized to provide excellent protection against long-term exposure to saltwater and sun. Carbo blocks are specifically designed for the small-diameter lines preferred by racers.
Features:
- Blocks are 30% lighter and have a 60% higher working load compared to Classic blocks.
- The Open AirBlock design eliminates unnecessary material and reduces weight.
- Ball bearings, sheave, and sideplates are UV-stabilized with carbon black for maximum protection.
- The patented switch allows the shackle to be locked in front or side positions or allows the block to swivel, preventing line twisting.
- The 57mm Carbo provides a broad working range and is suitable for main and jib sheets on centerboard and keelboats such as Etchells, Dragons, and J/24s, as well as mainsheet systems on catamarans.
