This 3-strand twisted mooring line is made from Polypropylene multifilament (PPM). PPM has excellent stretch, buoyancy, and is economically priced. The line is flexible and can be easily spliced, but it won’t fray. It’s an ideal line for general mooring needs. For lines that require higher strength or are more abrasion-resistant, you might prefer 3-strand polyester or braided polyester instead.
