It comes with a backplate that offers support when bolting through thin sections. This product is compatible with various alloy cleats such as the CL211 Mk2 and CL218 Mk2, as well as the nylon cleat CL272.

Clamcleat CL819 - Tapered Pad (with backplate)
The Clamcleat CL819, known as the Tapered Pad (with backplate), facilitates correct rope/cleating alignment.
It can be mounted either way round, and the backplate provides under deck support when bolting through thin sections, which is supplied with every pad.
The CL819 is utilized alongside these alloy cleats: the CL211 Mk2, the CL211MK2 S2, the CL217 Mk2, and the CL218 Mk2, including hard-anodized versions.
Additionally, it is compatible with the nylon cleat CL272.
