The Osculati 14.969.31 - xTAG 1 Clip-On + Red Wristband is a crucial component of a safety system designed to ensure boater safety. It features an automatic engine shut-off mechanism triggered when the xFOB transmitter is submerged in water at least 10 cm deep or moves out of the xHUB receiver's wireless range (up to 12 meters).
This product comes as part of the MOB (Man Overboard) basepack, which includes an xHUB receiver for mounting on the boat and an xFOB portable transmitter for the boater. Additionally, the system supports the inclusion of up to three additional xFOB transmitters, allowing for multiple users on the same vessel. The engine can be started by simply pressing the button on the xFOB transmitter. In case the xFOB is depleted or out of the wireless range, the engine can still be started via the xHUB receiver. After a MOB activation, the engine can be restarted six seconds later. Furthermore, if the xHUB receiver is not connected to an engine, it provides an audible signal in the event of a fall overboard.
The xFOB transmitter can be conveniently worn using various accessories, including the xBAND silicone wristband, the xTAG complete kit for belt or life vest attachment, or the xTAG band for neck wear. This product offers universal installation compatibility with all engine brands and supports both 12V and 24V systems. The xFOB operates on a CR2032 battery with up to 300 hours of battery life when connected and can be easily replaced when necessary.
