Osculati 14.969.01 - xFOB With Battery
The Osculati 14.969.01 xFOB With Battery is an integral component of an effective safety system designed to automatically shut off the engine in critical situations. This system is activated when the xFOB transmitter is submerged in water at least 10 cm deep or moves out of the xHUB receiver's wireless range of 12 meters.
When purchasing the MOB basepack, you receive an xHUB receiver for installation in your boat and an xFOB portable transmitter for the boater. Additional xFOB transmitters (up to 4 in total) can be added to the system, accommodating multiple users on the boat, including children and pets.
Operation of the system is straightforward: pressing the button on the xFOB transmitter starts the engine. In cases where the xFOB is depleted or out of range, engine startup can be initiated via the xHUB receiver. After MOB activation, the engine can be restarted after 6 seconds.
The xFOB transmitter can be conveniently worn using various accessories, including the xBAND silicone wristband, xTAG complete kit for belt or life vest attachment, or xTAG band for wearing around the neck.
This xFOB With Battery offers universal installation compatibility with all engine brands and operates on both 12V and 24V systems. The CR2032 battery within the xFOB provides up to 300 hours of battery life when connected and can be easily replaced when necessary.
