This Johnson Pump Bilge Alert unit operates similarly to the 12V model, using a Mirus field effect detector cell to sense water presence through micro-electrical field disruptions. Activation triggers a loud 100db piezo alarm and an LED on the control panel. The sealed detector cells remain protected from water contact, corrosion, and oil or foreign debris. The device includes a 3-way switch allowing arming, testing, and disabling functions.
