The Flojet Fresh Water Pump Inlet Strainer is designed to provide efficient filtration for water pressure and high-pressure systems. This durable strainer is ideal for both potable and salt water applications, ensuring the smooth operation of your water system.
Key features include a 1/2" QEST thread inlet and a plug-in port outlet compatible with 2-5 GPM Jabsco and Flojet pumps. It has a filter screen with 40 meshes per square inch, equivalent to 0.4mm openings, which effectively traps particles to prevent valve jams and pump damage.
The strainer supports a maximum flow rate of 23 liters per minute (6 GPM) and can handle up to 5 bar (70 PSI) of pressure and temperatures up to 70°C. Constructed with a polypropylene base, polysulfone cover, stainless steel strainer, and Buna-N and EPDM O-rings, it ensures long-lasting performance and easy maintenance with its transparent screw-off housing.
With dimensions of approximately 96mm in length, 70mm in width, and 83mm in height, this strainer serves as a reliable alternative to the Jabsco 46400-0014 model, offering convenience and efficiency for your water system needs.
