Flojet 1740010 - Fresh Water Pump Inlet Strainer - 19mm (3/4") Hose
Introducing the Flojet 1740010 Fresh Water Pump Inlet Strainer, designed for maximum efficiency and convenience. This version is inline and can handle a flow rate of up to 27 liters per minute (7 gallons per minute).
The inlet features a 19mm (3/4") hose connection, while the outlet has a plug-in port (m) specifically designed for 2-5 GPM Jabsco and Flojet pumps. The filter screen boasts 40 meshes per square inch, with approximately 0.4mm openings, ensuring that even the smallest particles are filtered out.
This versatile strainer is ideal for both water pressure systems and high pressure systems, making it suitable for potable water and salt water applications. It can handle a maximum pressure of 5 bar (70 PSI) and a maximum temperature of 70°C.
The materials used in this strainer are of the highest quality, with a polypropylene base, a polysulfone cover, a stainless steel strainer, a Buna-N cover O-ring, and an EPDM port O-ring. This combination ensures durability and long-lasting performance.
In addition to preventing particles from jamming valves and causing pump breakdowns, this strainer also features a transparent screw off housing that allows for easy inspection and cleaning of the stainless steel strainer. With dimensions of approximately 96mm in length, 70mm in width, and 83mm in height, it is a compact and efficient alternative to the Jabsco 46400-0010.
