The Zipwake IT600-E R800 Tunnel Interceptor is expertly designed to enhance vessel performance with its unique structural features. With a length of 600 mm and a radius of 800 mm, this tunnel interceptor provides an ideal lift solution for hulls equipped with propeller tunnels. Unlike traditional straight interceptors, the constant arc curvature of the tunnel interceptor allows for mounting above the propeller tunnel, making use of previously unused sections of the beam for lift generation. With three tunnel models featuring varying radii—R500, R600, and R800—most large ship propeller tunnels can be effectively covered, ensuring minimal deviation between the curvature of the hull and the interceptor. This interceptor can be utilized in both new installations and retrofitted into existing systems.
