The Zipwake IT600-E R500 tunnel interceptor is designed to enhance the performance of vessels with propeller tunnels. Measuring 600 mm in length and featuring a radius of 500 mm, this interceptor provides ideal lift solutions specifically tailored for such hull designs. Unlike straight interceptors, the continuous arc curvature of the tunnel interceptor allows for installation above the propeller tunnel, effectively utilizing otherwise wasted areas of the hull to generate lift. With three different tunnel models available—R500, R600, and R800—it ensures compatibility with most large ship propeller tunnels while maintaining minimal discrepancies between hull curvature and interceptor alignment. Tunnel interceptors can be integrated into new installations or retrofitted into existing systems.
