Function
The Separ filters from Lössing Filterproduktion GmbH come with straight screw connections, allowing better screw connection with cutting ring, and are designed to be compatible with pipe systems.
- Screw the screw connection into the Separ filter. A pre-assembled O-ring provides the seal.
- Push the pipe with the appropriate outside diameter into the fitting as far as it will go.
- Tighten the union nut. The screw connection (see point 1.) must be countered with a suitable key and secured against twisting.
- When the union nut is tightened, the edges of the cutting ring are pressed into the pipe due to its geometry.
The cutting ring thus enters into a form-fitting sealing connection with the pipe. Hose nipples can also be connected to the screw connection as an alternative to fixed piping.
