There are two main types of bellows expansion: singles and doubles, and their goal is to absorb motion in any pipeline passage that is set between two fixed points. Single bellows units are mainly used to absorb axial movement, while double blocks are more suitable where lateral movement is present. To move bellows in any direction, force must be applied. This force is the result of the movement and speed of the spring in the direction of motion. The rubber design provides a stainless steel bellows with low stiffness, which provides better vibration and force control in pipe systems that provide optimal service life.
