The PSS 07-25M-134 Maintenance Kit is essential for ensuring the longevity and performance of your 25mm shaft system. Regular maintenance is crucial, especially for components exposed to water, to prevent wear and deterioration.

The PSS bellows, like any rubber or silicone hose below the waterline, should be inspected frequently for signs of wear, aging, or chemical damage. PSS Seal recommends replacing the bellows every six years. When replacing the bellows, it is also advisable to change the accompanying o-rings, set screws, and hose clamps. The PSS Maintenance Kit includes all necessary replacement components.

Included in the Kit:
- Bellows - 1 quantity
- Nitrile o-rings - 2 quantities
- Set screws - 5 quantities
- Hose clamps - 4 quantities
- Tube of Thread Lock - 1 quantity
- Allen key - 1 quantity
While the PSS Seal suggests bellows replacement every six years, it is important to note that under normal conditions, the carbon stator and stainless steel rotor typically do not require replacement. However, during bellows replacement, it is prudent to also replace the o-rings and set screws for optimal performance.

It is not recommended to reuse set screws when adjusting or removing the PSS Shaft Seal. The provided cup-point set screws are designed to compress onto the shaft when tightened, and reusing them may prevent proper locking. The PSS Maintenance Kit includes five new set screws to ensure a secure fit.
