PSS 07-112-234 - Maintenance Kit For 1 1/2" Shaft

The PSS 07-112-234 Maintenance Kit is designed to ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your PSS Shaft Seal system. Regular maintenance is crucial for preventing wear and deterioration, especially for components below the waterline. This kit provides all the necessary parts for maintaining and replacing essential components to keep your system in top condition.

Included in the kit are:
- Bellows - 1 quantity
- Nitrile o-rings - 2 quantities
- Set screws - 5 quantities
- Hose clamps - 4 quantities
- Tube of Thread Lock - 1 quantity
- Allen key - 1 quantity
PSS Seal recommends replacing the bellows every 6 years. During this replacement, it is also advisable to replace the o-rings and set screws as well as the hose clamps. Typically, the carbon stator and stainless steel rotor do not require replacement unless they show signs of wear.

Note that the set screws included in the kit are cup-point set screws, which are designed to compress onto the shaft when tightened. Re-using old set screws may result in improper locking onto the shaft. The kit includes five new set screws to ensure a secure fit.
