The PSS 02-514-714 Dripless Shaft Seal is engineered for superior performance and reliability. Designed for marine applications, it features a mechanical face seal that ensures a leak-proof seal between the rotating stainless-steel rotor and the stationary carbon flange. This design accommodates variable movement and compensates for misalignment and vibration, providing long-lasting protection and minimal maintenance.

- Sealing Surface: Stainless-steel rotor and carbon flange
- Attachment: Carbon flange attached to bellows with hose clamps; bellows fits over stern tube and secured with hose clamps
- Pre-load: Compression of bellows by stainless-steel rotor to maintain constant contact
- Carbon Flange: Over-bored to shaft diameter for floating around the shaft, accommodating misalignment and vibration
- O-Rings: Two O-rings recessed into the collar’s bore, rotating with the shaft and rotor
