The PSS 02-512-634 Dripless Shaft Seal is designed to provide a reliable and efficient sealing solution for marine applications. It utilizes a mechanical face seal that ensures durability and flexibility under varying conditions.
- Type: B PSS Shaft Seal
- Sealing Mechanism: Mechanical face seal with a stainless-steel rotor and a stationary carbon flange.
- Carbon Flange: Attached to the bellows with hose clamps and over-bored to accommodate shaft diameter for alignment and vibration compensation.
- Stainless-Steel Rotor: Compresses the bellows and is secured to the shaft with set screws to maintain contact and compensate for propeller thrust.
- O-Rings: Two O-rings seal the rotor to the shaft, rotating with the shaft and rotor without wear.
