The PSS Shaft Seal (Type A) is an advanced mechanical face seal designed to provide a dripless solution for boat propeller shafts. It utilizes a stationary carbon flange and a rotating stainless-steel rotor to maintain a consistent and reliable seal, even during the variations caused by propeller thrust and vibrations. This design minimizes water leakage, making it ideal for marine applications.
- Sealing surface created between the rotating stainless-steel rotor and stationary carbon flange
- Carbon flange attached to bellows with hose clamps, ensuring a secure fit
- Bellows secured over the stern tube with hose clamps
