The PSS 02-28M-212 Dripless Shaft Seal is a high-performance, mechanical face seal designed to provide a reliable and maintenance-free sealing solution for marine applications. With a focus on durability and precision, this seal is engineered to accommodate the demands of propeller thrust and shaft movement while ensuring minimal wear and maximum efficiency.

- Sealing Surface: Flat surfaces of rotating stainless-steel rotor and stationary carbon flange
- Attachment: Carbon flange attached to bellows with hose clamps; bellows secured to Stern tube with hose clamps
- Compression: Stainless-steel rotor compresses the bellows to maintain constant contact between rotor and flange
- Compensation: Adjusts for variable fore and aft movement and most misalignment and vibration problems
- O-Rings: Two O-rings seal the rotor to the shaft and rotate with the shaft without wear
Temperature Limits: 5°F to 225°F (-15°C to 107°C)
