A reinforced version of the model 5023, and is used for systems with the highest friction and very high torque. It is ideal for emergency stops and propeller shaft stops. It will work well with the standard disc series. This brake caliper is available with both air pneumatic pressure and spring version. Drives are equipped with two holes for liquid supply. These ports are shared and have only one input. Changing the control pressure on the drive will cause an absolutely proportional change in braking torque. The maximum liquid supply is 100 PSI (6.9 bar). Kobelt has developed an entire series of brake discs to match this caliper.
