The 5024 is a very compact mechanism for high brake torque. All components on this caliper are shared with Model 5027. This caliper is suitable for many industrial and marine applications. The latest developments in Kobelt's production are included in this support, and are subject to a long warranty period. The diaphragm drive is very sensitive to pressure changes. Maximum drive feed pressure shall not exceed 100 psi (6.9 bar). The plug actuator can be adjusted to prevent wear. Thus, the gap between the disc and the brake shoe can be maintained at an optimal level.
