The Kobelt 7201 Autopilot Hydraulic Pump is specifically designed for manual hydraulic steering systems, providing the necessary hydraulic pressure to make the autopilot operational. It is available with either 12V or 24V DC motors, and is ideal for intermittent use. Although the pump can be used continuously, the motor is designed to prevent overheating and should not operate beyond the recommended current draw of 16 amps for the 12V version and 8 amps for the 24V version. This ensures long-lasting and safe operation, even in demanding conditions.
Equipped with adjustable safety valves for both port and starboard, the Kobelt 7201 allows for flow control adjustments, ranging from 40 to 250 cubic inches per minute, with an option to increase the volume to 300 cubic inches per minute upon special request. The pump and motor are constructed from high-quality materials, including silicon bronze, stainless steel hardware, and hardened steel pistons. This ensures durability, reliability, and minimal wear over time, even in harsh environments. The integrated lock valve prevents hydraulic feedback, providing extra safety for the system.
