This indicator can be calibrated to match the physical rudder position or the position of the alternative signal source, providing flexibility in setup.

Featuring three scales for comprehensive viewing, the 7178 indicator provides an impressive 230-degree viewing angle from the vessel’s bridge. It is driven by position transducers such as the Kobelt 7163, 7168, or 7174 Rudder Feedback Units (RFU), ensuring precise and accurate readings. The indicator is designed with a rugged construction, built to withstand tough marine conditions, and it offers high durability with its IP20 ingress protection, vibration resistance, and a wide operational temperature range from -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to 55°C).
