This device is designed to receive a command signal from models 7167, 7169, 7171, 7172 and 7176. The 7144, 7145 and 7148 are equipped with solenoid valves and can be activated with the 7173-K model, which will accelerate hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic steering system to maintain the desired position. This device can be located anywhere on board the vessel, even in the steering compartment, since its water resistance and non-aggressive materials will prevent water from getting close to the electronics inside.
