4204 is a rod with a spring mechanism in the center of the cylinder. Air pressure on both sides will cause the piston rod to move accordingly. This cylinder is mainly used to control offshore hydraulic transmissions. In the absence of air pressure in any control port, the outlet rod will be located in the center. Using air pressure (minimum 65 PSI), the piston rod will move in any extreme position. The stroke of the piston rod is one inch in any direction, (full stroke is two inches). The design is made of bronze ANDS and stainless steel, and will provide years of uninterrupted service.
