This is easily controlled through the boat's single lever shift without the need for delicate hydraulics or complex mechanics.

Utilized under power in calm weather or when powering under sail, the "Overdrive" function maintains the same speed at lower revs, resulting in reduced engine noise, less vibration, and improved fuel consumption. The operation is straightforward, shifting from normal ahead to "overdrive" via reverse, moving the ship clearly backwards, then shifting back to ahead.
