Gori 2-flg. Faltprop. 15x11x2LHS for Sail-Drive
The Gori 2-blade folding propeller, known as the Gori 2-flg. Faltprop., has a history spanning over 25 years of continuous development to leverage modern manufacturing technology and testing capabilities.
Designed for sailing yachts with engines up to approximately 44 kW/60 hp, this folding propeller comes in 7 sizes ranging from 11.5” to 18” Ø, suitable for both shafts and sail drives. It is available in clockwise or counter-clockwise versions to meet diverse requirements.
Blade Synchronization
The wing shape with toothing ensures synchronous wing movement, reducing vibrations during forward and reverse movements. This leads to a correct pitch setting and optimal conduction under the motor. When sailing, the wings automatically fold to minimize drag.
Full Speed When Sailing
Independent tests have shown that the 2-blade Gori folding propeller significantly reduces water resistance, resulting in a speed increase of up to 1 knot under sail. The unique shape prevents debris like seaweed and plastic bags from clinging to it during sailing.
Full Power in Reverse
Tests indicate that the efficiency of the 2-blade Gori folding propeller equals or surpasses that of most 2- and 3-blade rotary or folding propellers. Optimal reverse thrust is achieved through a combination of shape and profile design, utilizing centrifugal force effectively.
Full Power When Driving Forward
Independent tests also demonstrate that the efficiency of the 2-blade Gori folding propeller in forward propulsion exceeds that of most 2- and 3-blade rotary and folding propellers, providing full power when needed.
Saildrive Propeller
The hub of the Gori Saildrive Propeller features a flexible core that absorbs shock and electrically isolates the propeller from the saildrive, meeting the requirements of engine manufacturers. A safety system in the hub enhances durability and ensures maneuverability. Compatible with common sail drives like Bukh, Sonic, Volvo-Penta, Yanmar, and more.
