It's designed to be installed below the engine as the lowest point of the exhaust system, ensuring efficient water drainage. Whether installed above or below the waterline, this muffler accommodates both petrol (gas) and diesel applications, offering better sound-absorbing properties ranging from 22-28 dB depending on the engine type.

Constructed from heat-resistant GRP (glass reinforced plastic), along with other Centek wet exhaust components, this waterlock is corrosion-resistant and can withstand temperatures up to 177°C (350°F). It is ABS, ABYC, Lloyds, and UL approved, ensuring compliance with industry standards for safety and performance. The Centek Vernalift is specifically designed for wet exhaust systems and should be paired with approved rubber marine exhaust hose for optimal performance.
