Improve your marine experience with the Centek 1020400 Gen-Sep Exhaust Gas/Water Separator, a device that goes beyond traditional mufflers to significantly reduce bothersome genset exhaust noise during dockside stays or overnight mooring.

Installed downstream of a Vernalift muffler on generators or small propulsion engines, the Gen-Sep efficiently separates wet exhaust water and gas outflows, resulting in a noticeable reduction in exhaust noise compared to using a muffler alone. Bid farewell to irritating periodic surging and water splashing typical of wet exhausts, as the Gen-Sep delivers an exhaust sound reminiscent of a home dryer.

For optimal performance, mount the Gen-Sep with its bottom positioned at least 12" - 18" above the waterline and its top no higher than 48" above the top of the Vernalift muffler. Each Gen-Sep unit features two Inlet/Gas Out ports and a single Water Out port for ease of operation.
