"Genverter© (Genverter) combined system based on the technologies of the latest generation diesel engines with a new way of producing electric energy. Instead of using a fixed speed alternator mounted on the rear of the engine flywheel, we developed a very compact permanent magnet alternator (Permanent Magnet), placing it behind the engine. As a result, this system is more compact and lightweight than conventional generators.
Customer Benefits:
This modification of the generator is designed to be installed outside the special equipment case and is made in a steel case
Attention, this generator model does not require an additional radiator for cooling, the radiator is already built into the inside of the case.
In this model, the radiator uses oil cooling, thereby significantly reducing noise. Cooling fluid is also not required.
In difficult weather conditions with a hot climate, we recommend ordering a modification with a radiator placed outside
The output voltage of the generator is independent of RPM. Generator revolutions can be fixed at a frequency that provides an optimal balance between revolutions, output power produced by noise and vibration. In most cases, an accurate engineering calculation gives a result of 2300 rpm.
The permanent magnet of the alternator uses the same cooling circuit as the engine motor, this simplifies the installation of the DG.
The output voltage/energy of permanent magnets can be used in a variety of ways, including integration into DC DC power grids. For example, we use our DC PowerCube 24 v/150 A, which is immediately connected to the Genverter, in the electric circuit of the boat we get a current in the range from 0 A to 150 A, depending on the required load, U = 24 V.
The GV "Basic" generator is a hybrid generator: the variable rotation speed, depending on the load, produces an alternating current of up to 32 A with a voltage of 230 V/50 Hz from the converter unit built into the case. If necessary, our WPC Power Center must be added to even greater power, which takes energy from the batteries and converts/inverts the direct current to an alternating 230 v/50 hz, while completely synchronizing with the frequency generated by the generator. The batteries will automatically be charged from this WPC Power Centre if necessary (when the voltage is lowered). The battery will take energy for charging from the coastal network, and in the absence of such it will give the command to start the generator. "
