Victron Energy Cyrix-ct 12/24V-230A (CYR010230010R) is an intelligent, heavy-duty battery combiner relay that automatically manages charge distribution between batteries. When one battery reaches a charging voltage, the Cyrix-ct engages to allow parallel charging; it disconnects when the voltage falls to prevent unwanted drain.
Unlike diode isolators, the Cyrix-ct has zero voltage loss, maintaining proper charging voltages from alternators and chargers. It features automatic 12V/24V detection, LED status indication, and includes a 1-meter control cable for emergency manual activation (Start Assist).
Technical Specifications:

LED Status Indication:
- LED ON: Batteries engaged (connected)
- LED flash every 10 sec: Disengaged
- LED flash every 2 sec: Connecting
- LED blink every 2 sec: Disconnecting
- LED blink every 0.25 sec: Alarm (e.g., overtemperature, high voltage, low voltage)
Key Features:
- Automatically connects/disconnects batteries based on voltage trends.
- Bidirectional voltage sensing – engages when either battery is charging.
- Start Assist function allows manual battery parallel for 30 seconds.
- Includes LED indicators and 1-meter push-button control cable.
- Zero voltage drop – unlike diode isolators, no alternator compensation needed.
- Thermal protection with automatic recovery after cooldown.
Typical Applications:
- Marine power systems with house and starter batteries
- RVs and vehicles with auxiliary battery setups
- Off-grid energy systems requiring automatic battery management
Note: For safe operation, install appropriate fuses in the battery circuit. The Cyrix will not engage if battery voltage is below 2V (12V system) or 4V (24V system).
