Victron Battery Balancer - BBA000100100

Victron Energy BBA000100100 – Battery Balancer is an intelligent device designed to automatically equalize the state of charge between two 12V batteries in series (for 24V systems), or multiple strings of batteries in 48V systems. It ensures balanced charging and prevents damage from unequal battery aging and capacity loss.

When the system voltage rises above 27V, the balancer monitors the voltages of the individual batteries and activates when a deviation is detected. It draws up to 1 amp of current from the battery with the highest voltage, helping to maintain equal voltage levels and prolong battery life. Multiple units can be connected in parallel to support higher voltage systems like 48V (three units required).

Note: For 48V systems, install three Battery Balancers to maintain balance across all four batteries in series. The device is designed for passive balancing and should not replace battery management systems (BMS) for lithium batteries.
