Victron Energy ASS030550220 - Non-Inverting Remote On-Off Cable
The Non-Inverting Remote On-Off Cable (ASS030550220) is designed for integrating specific Victron Energy components with the VE.Bus BMS. This cable modifies the remote on/off signal logic from the VE.Bus BMS to suit devices requiring an active pull-down signal to disable.
Compatible Devices:
- Skylla-TG battery chargers (all models)
- Battery Protect models BP40i, BP60i, and BP200i (discontinued)
Functionality:
- Translates the VE.Bus BMS output (normally high, open circuit on alarm) into a logic level that actively pulls down to switch off connected devices.
Wiring Overview:
- For Battery Protect: Connect between the Load-disconnect output of the VE.Bus BMS and the Battery Protect input.
- For Skylla-TG: Connect between the Charge-disconnect output of the VE.Bus BMS and the Skylla-TG input.
Technical Specifications:
- Maximum input voltage: 70V
- Maximum output voltage: 70V
- Pull-down: Active when input is floating or < 2V
- Pull-down current: ~30mA (short-circuit proof)
This cable is a reliable and essential accessory for seamless integration of legacy Victron devices into modern VE.Bus BMS-controlled power systems.
