The Vesper Marine SP160 VHF/AIS/FM Antenna Splitter is an innovative solution that eliminates the need for a separate VHF antenna when using an AIS receiver or transponder. It allows you to share a single antenna with a VHF radio, simplifying your setup.
This splitter features a low-noise amplifier that enhances AIS reception and extends its range. It is compatible with any AIS receiver or transponder and offers unique integration features for the AIS WatchMate Class B Transponder.
Key features of the Vesper Marine SP160 include an IPx7 waterproof rating, ensuring its durability in marine environments. It also includes four LED status indicators for power, VHF transmit, AIS transmit, and antenna quality. Additionally, it offers the option to connect to AM/FM radio via an optional cable with a standard Motorola plug.
With the Vesper Marine SP160, your VHF radio always takes priority, and it can transmit even if the power to the splitter fails. This splitter is designed for low power consumption and accepts 12 / 24V DC input.
The package includes a 6.5-foot/2-meter 50ohm cable with PL-259 connectors for easy installation.
