The VDO A2C59514084 ViewLine Fuel Level Gauge is a precision instrument designed to monitor fuel levels with high accuracy. It is specifically engineered for easy installation and reliable performance in various vehicles and machinery.
Key specifications include an installation hole diameter of 52 mm (2 1/16 Inch) and an outside diameter of 59 mm (2 1/3 Inch), with an installation depth of 50 mm. The gauge features a locking height range with the Spinlock nut of 0.5 mm to 20 mm, and with the optional bracket, it can accommodate a locking height from 2 mm to 15 mm. For flushmount installation, an optional kit A2C59510864 is available.
In terms of functionality, the gauge measures fuel levels within a range of 0 to 1/1 and operates with a resistance of 3 Ohms when empty and 180 Ohms when full. It is designed to work with the Veratron Lever arm sender 3 - 180 Ohm EU and boasts an accuracy of less than 3.6 angular degrees. The connection is made through a Hirschmann 8 pins MQS connector.
The device operates with a voltage range of 8 - 32 V DC and has a current consumption of less than 140 mA, which includes the warning LED. It includes reverse polarity protection for up to 5 minutes and short circuit protection for up to 1 minute.
